Buttoned Jumper Dress

This is a very simple buttoned jumper dress that I made for Raisya.  

It can be worn alone or with legging.

I love the colour of the dress and the button.

but i am not sure whether it is the right time to have one at this point of time.

what do you think? should i order it now or later.

( i have been dreaming to have my own booth at a bazaar/online shop,

 so i want the label very badly-

will my dream come true?)

Military Inspired Dress

I bought this shirt at 'uptown kd' for 5 ringgit. It was L in size that would fit normal 7-8 years old kid. I bought it because i love the color and because, hey, its five ringgit 'maybe i can do something with it!'

Then, as i was searching for an idea to refashion it, i found this piece from pumpkin patch.

 and i was like, yep, i can do this. So this morning, i tried it and i was extremely happy when it turned out like this.

With 5 ringgit plus rm1.80 for the button and not to mention daddy's old black shirt, i made this beautiful dress at a fraction of pumpkin patch price. haha, clever. me like it!

Skirt for Raisya

Today, I made a skirt for Raisya. It is a very simple skirt without elastic waistband.  I used zipper instead.  This is my first time sewing with concealed zipper.  I googled videos on this topic and learned from there.  The result: The zipper was not concealed as i imagined it was. booo....   I need to buy conceal zipper foot pronto!

But, the skirt is still cute especially when cute lil Raisya wearing it. Love.

Vintage Treasure

yep! it is my sweet vintage treasure. i got it from my mom. It is solely and officially mine when i moved to Mentakab in 2005.  My first job was in Mentakab and i had to rent a house alone. So this sweet treasure has been my friend and keep me occupied at night. There was no tv until i can afford to buy one after 3 months of working. very sad, huh?


 I sent her to the 'doctor' in 2007 and its working wonderfully to me until now.  Even when my new baby cannot serve me (to sew with elastic thread), this sweet treasure never failed to serve me and that's why i love it. i will keep you forever, buddy!
